Big Announcement: Apple Watch Ultra PrePVT with two engravings. I believe this to be one of the only prototype Ultras currently in the wild. Runs Switchboard and boots to NonUIQRCode. #apple#appleinternal
@dosdude1 The left one in the first image is the one that is functional. It does seem to be pretty random which ones work, I’ll send you a closeup of the drill holes on that board. And yes, I am using a Late 2018 Mac mini power supply to get it working. Note that an M1 does NOT work.
A couple of Prototype Apple Developer Transition Kit (DTK) boards. One of them works and is able to be debugged using a Chimp probe. These used an A12Z processor to help developers transition their apps to the upcoming M1 (ARM) platform. #appleinternal#apple
@ju2tl00k1n @unc0vrd Aren’t you guys aware the website you bought the gift cards from is a well known scam site? You probably got scammed from the website and not @unc0vrd. I’d recommend contacting the website for a refund (if you even can). https://t.co/u3CzwlvVVa
So excited to hop into this amazing book by @tfadell. Just read the introduction and I’m already enthralled. So much knowledge and personal stories to be inspired by. #BUILD
Never before seen: LG Stylo 7. This device was cancelled and never made it past the development stage, due to LG leaving the smartphone market. Specs in comments. #LG
iPad mini 2 Demo- comes with all the original demo content installed and runs iOS 7.0.4. Pretty rare to have the original iOS version installed, most of these were updated to 12 and wiped. It plays a looping demo video if it's left alone for about 30 seconds. Also has demo apps.
@MobCat_@lozaning@ArchiveInternal It also protects you from viewing what’s in the system folder (/). It comes up with this message if you try to access it:
@MobCat_@lozaning@ArchiveInternal Possibly, I tried force stopping the application but the text did not go away. The actual text itself might be a system shell application somewhere on the device. The ISS Manager app doesn’t just display that text though. It also has a log protector and blacklists the device IMEI
@MobCat_@ArchiveInternal The yellow text is coming from an app called “ISS Manager”. You enter in details about you and the device and it gets the text from a server, whatever the device assigned to you is.
@MobCat_@ArchiveInternal The ID on the edges of the screen is sorta like an identification on who owns the prototype or who is currently testing it. For example, the yellow text on the edges is an email of someone that was working for a testing facility.
