"The sun and the moon divide time into day and night. Sushumna is the devourer of time; this is a supreme secret. When the breath enters Sushumna, the mind becomes absorbed in stillness, and the dormant Kundalini ascends."
— Svatmarama, Hatha Yoga Pradipika
“The best indicator of your level of consciousness is how you deal with life’s challenges when they come… You can use a challenge to awaken you, or you can allow it to pull you into even deeper sleep.”
~ Eckhart Tolle
You are not here to fix the world.
You are here to remember you made it.
Every crisis is a mirror asking you to reclaim your power.
Stop fighting shadows.
Turn on the light.
The world will follow.
You are the light.
You are the world.
You are everything.
“Do not take life’s experiences too seriously. For in reality they are nothing but dream experiences. Play your part in life, but never forget that it is only a role.”
~ Paramahansa Yogananda
“Do not waste energy trying to conquer your mind, conquer yourself. To conquer yourself means that when you re-awake to what you are, you realize it is perfect as it is.”
~ Mooji
Your greatest suffering is linked to the power your higher individuality came to cultivate.
Before birth, the human individuality helps shape the conditions of its coming life.
Past actions, unfinished development and essential relationships are woven together into destiny —
not as punishment, but as the precise environment needed for growth.
But karma never removes freedom.
Karma creates the situation.
You create the response.
A conflict shows how quickly anger can seize your astral life.
A loss reveals what your identity was unconsciously built upon.
Fear points directly to the place where courage has not yet awakened.
This is why destiny becomes self-knowledge.
Life leads you into situations where you meet yourself— not the self you imagine,
but the self that actually lives within your thinking, feeling, and willing.
Your thinking is confronted by confusion.
Your feeling by suffering.
Your will by resistance.
And precisely there, development becomes possible.
Karma never commands how you must respond.
Two people can meet similar suffering and move in entirely different directions.
Pain can harden into bitterness —
or ripen into understanding.
Fear can collapse into paralysis —
or transform into courage.
Responsibility can crush the personality —
or awaken forces that were sleeping in the depths of the soul.
The event itself does not transform you.
What you consciously make of the event does.
Humanity is increasingly called toward independent thinking, courage, and actions arising from inner conviction rather than external authority.
The spiritual task is not to escape difficult circumstances.
It is to become more awake within them.
To think when confusion would be easier.
To remain inwardly balanced when emotion wants to rule you.
To transform suffering rather than merely endure it.
This is spiritual evolution.
The gradual purification of thinking, feeling, and willing until the higher individuality can express itself more consciously through them.
So when life becomes difficult, ask yourself:
“What can I become through the way I meet it?”
Destiny gives you the material.
Freedom determines what you build from it.
“This is peaceful, this is sublime: the stilling of all activities, the relinquishing of all acquisitions, the destruction of craving, dispassion, cessation, Nirvana.”
~ The Buddha
“All the happiness in the world arises from wishing for the happiness of others;
all the suffering in the world arises
from wishing for one’s own happiness.”
~ Shantideva
You are not in a body.
The body is in you.
You are the space in which the body appears, the silence in which thoughts arise.
You are not the wave; you are the ocean.
You are not the character; you are the screen.
You are Source, dreaming it is a person.
Wake up. Now.
“It really doesn’t matter, what plays on the surface. It doesn’t matter whether you are experiencing some crazy mind movement or extreme self consciousness… It makes no blemish on the Awareness itself. It is pure, unstained. You are This.”
~ Mooji
