When the Arrabona Racing Team contacted Applied Measurements looking for sponsors, we jumped at the chance. The specific team that we are supporting is comprised of first year university students from the University of Porto in Porto, Portugal. #arrabonaracingteam#formulastudent
These beautifully constructed LS01 displacement sensors are a sight to behold. Specified by the customer to have a 300mm range, 4-20mA (3-wire) output and an IP67 rated, radial M12 connector, these displacement sensors will measure movement exquisitely. https://t.co/aLGXHAyTvo
Today, wouldn't feel right without a glimpse of the PR3203 very low pressure dry/dry differential sensor. Based on the PR3202, this modified version has a 0-10V output and will measure pressure differences between 0-5mbar.

You won't find these CDDLDD submersible load cells with built in 4-20mA amplifiers on our website, as they have been custom made for one customer.
Supplied with 5m of 4-core screen, PUR sheath cable, our nearest standard product is this one https://t.co/qW4UoeXSSH

Check out these four lovely suspension units. The customer needed strain gauges fitted to each of these units. Naturally they choose us as the lowest risk option, as we do happen to have one of the largest bespoke strain gauge facilities in the UK.

This week we celebrated our 35 year corporate anniversary. Why not discover just some of the interesting projects that we have worked on and the milestones we made along the way.

A certain university in London needed 12 bespoke strain gauge buckles to be designed and made. Naturally, they chose us for the work and here are the buckles in the process of being made in our state-of-the-art gauging department in Aldermaston.

Today was a special day at Applied Measurements. We celebrated our corporate 35 year anniversary!
The directors Ollie and Darren, seen here cutting the cake, would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of our customers, employees, distributors and suppliers.
The DTD-S static torque transducer has a square drive and will be used to calibrate torque tools.
The mains powered SGA-A load cell signal conditioner is used to convert the mV/V output into a conditioned 4-20mA output.

These 10kN DSCC load cells are fatigue rated at 500 million cycles! This means that these sensors can be subjected to a 5Hz alternating load of 0kN < 10kN, 24 hours a day and would not be expected to suffer structural failure or produce fatigue cracks for over 3 years!
We are looking forward to welcoming you to stand 5 during the Instrumentation, Analysis and Testing Exhibition at Silverstone on 12 May.
If you haven't already registered as a visitor, then it is not to late.

The Applied Measurements TRX display indicator can remember the calibration settings of up to six separate strain-gauge based sensors. Although only one sensor can be connected at any one time. The TRX provides accurate readings from both the seen 25kg and 100kg DBBSM load cells.
The next batch of high temperature pressure sensors to go out to a customer.
The Pa600HT is designed to be mechanically connected to pressurised media up to temperatures of 150C. The cooling fins help dissipate that heat so that the electrics stay within operating temperatures.
Two Pa600U and one Pa600UF complete standalone systems will be winging their way to a customer this week.
Each case contains a Pa600 pressure sensor, a 4-pin to DSCUSB cable, a analogue-to-digital DSCUSB converter and a micro USB to USB-A PC cable.

We are looking forward to exhibiting at the EIS 'Instrumentation, Analysis and Testing' trade show on 12th May at Silverstone.
If you need to measure mechanical forces, displacement or pressure then you can find us on stand 5. Book via the QR code.
Roll on 12th May.
