Today, the APPU Bureau marked the 64th Anniversary of the Asian-Pacific Postal Union, which was established on 1 April 1962, with a small cake-cutting ceremony in Bangkok.

The Service Excellence in the Postal Sector Workshop designed for Qatar Post Officials was successfully concluded at the Asian-Pacific Postal College (APPC) on 13 February 2026.

UPU is organizing Disaster Risk Management Global Advanced Expert Training Workshop in association with the APPU in Bangkok, Thailand, from 3 - 6 February 2026. There are 29 participants from 18 countries attending the workshop.
Dr Vinaya Prakash Singh, Secretary-General of APPU, was pleased to meet Ms Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Thailand and exchange New Year greetings. He also discussed issues of mutual interest.
