One of the best things about this school year so far has been our time together outdoors! Very special.😀 Here is one half of the class distancing and working hard!
(Wish I had a wide-angle lens to capture everyone at once)
Need to incorporate this in all future school years. ❤️

Thankful to receive an award for our stamp club today! The members will be excited to see this award for excellence in stamp collecting.📮
AND: We usually wear masks, but removed for only a moment for the photo, while outdoors and distanced. We ❤️ masks.

"Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." —Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

No Field Day at school this year. So, last week we had Field Day at home! Activities: Carry a wet tennis ball on a plate, carry a wet sponge on your head and a wet beach towel on your back, baseball, yard darts, water fight, fill a bucket with tiny cups, and last, water balloons!

What a 4th quarter! We have shared photos as a class through these at-home weeks. Here is another collage of recent events: Frogs, caterpillars, homemade Play-Doh, eLearning at home, exploring, games and experiments! 💗💥🐛

[April Vandiver @AprilVandiver]

More photos keep coming in of our learn-at-home time...😍
An egg experiment, butterfly kit, leaf hunting, making bird feeders, and gardening! A fun dress up as a cabbage (for our musical), a word game and exercise!👏💗🦋

More new photos from my second grade class: We have bunny surprises, a sculpture, caterpillars, puzzles, exercise, a kite, and more! We help our world by staying home. We are all still growing, and still a family.❤️

ZOOM! WE LOVE ZOOM!
Fourth quarter is going well.
We have reports of lost teeth, experiments, projects, slime making,
butterfly kits, and of course READING. 😃📚🥰

More wonderful photos keep coming in of my class "working from home". What a wonderful mix of academic, and art, and real life science with seeds...so much good happening!
😊👏💯

Social distancing is working.

We need to vigorously maintain it.

Lives depend on it.

This is not about any one of us — it’s about all of us.

We had a fun science experiment today about density with maple syrup, colored water and olive oil!🔎
Thank you Twitter for the idea!
