I am a proud @apsFYI employee - today even more so! As I was watching the news about Hurricane Milton, my coworkers at the Flagstaff and Payson docks were rolling out to head for Florida to restore power. That’s what we do… help communities! Safe travels APS! #FloridaBound

A huge thank you to the crews working day & night to restore power from the fierce storms. The work they do is no small task, as they cleared out damaged equipment, set new poles & restored electrical wire. We thank all of you affected by these outages for your patience.

36 yrs ago the dedication ceremony was held for Palo Verde Generating Station. Palo Verde is a critical asset to the southwest with clean & carbon-free energy. It generates more than 32 million megawatt-hours annually – enough power for more than 4 million homes and businesses.

ribbon cutting in Winslow for the 1st phase of the Chevelon Buttes Windfarm. @apsFYI will receive power from this farm. With phase 2, it will be able to power 110K homes. APS is making steady progress towards 100% clean energy by 2050. #RuralAZ

Meet Blanco. He was pardoned for his crime of drug smuggling by Mayor Kathleen Smith at the Chamber’s Old West Fest.
Seriously, Blanco was used for smuggling. He was seized and auctioned off to a Holbrook rancher Blanco is working as a ranch horse and is no longer a criminal!

APS employee volunteers recently traveled to the Navajo Nation to help bring power to families for the first time. Through the Light Up Navajo program, our lineworkers came together with @NTUAUtilities to install poles, run power lines & electrify homes within the Navajo Nation.
