Itβs an absolute honor to serve alongside such thoughtful, committed leaders who give so much of their time and talent to advance our profession.
Thank you for your service, your partnership, and your steady leadership. Iβm better for it, and so is APTA.
Worlds collided the other day when my sister, Tina Covington Gordon, the CEO for the North Carolina Nurses Association, was up the street for an association meeting and popped by to visit @APTA_official.
Thanks to the Northeastern University DPT program and the Class of 2026 for the invitation to serve as the Chair for Husky House, a mock experience in professional debate and governance.
It was an amazing and inspiring day sharing ideas that are moving our profession forward.
Had a great time connecting with our colleagues at the APTA Private Practice Annual Conference.
Grateful to Mike Horsfield, President of @pps_apta, for the invitation and the opportunity to join such an energized community.
Iβve felt the sting of insurance denial myself, even while Iβm in physical therapy right now for a recent injury.
Administrative burden is breaking the system, and patients and PTs are paying the price. @APTA_official is fully committed to pushing for meaningful change.
I couldnβt be more excited to share this moment with fellow PTs, PTAs, students and APTA staff to celebrate #PTMonth and promote physical therapy at the @TODAYshow!
