I'm an AP at Frontier Trail Middle School. I oversee Curriculum, Assessment, and more! Also a student in the Ed Admin Ed.D program at the University of Kansas.
@M_Vernon He had could articulate how he would run a program. He could speak to coaching well, but the off the field answers stood out. His attention to detail gave us insight into how he thought. Most options were going to be 1st time HCs. He sounded ready.
@M_Vernon Student Senate got a rep on the Committee (students still paid the Women and Non-Revenue sports fee then). I asked to do it. It was a great experience. I sat in on 20 or so interviews of lots of now current and former D1 Head Coaches. Bohl put no guard rails on my questions.
@Royals WIN! At the end of the game, @Daniel_Lynch25 threw Graham a ball from the bullpen. He’s very excited! He talked the whole way home. We will see if he can sleep tonight. #FountainsUp
@smsdebate and @Smedb84n6 are debating for the NCFL Policy Debate Title. The state of Kansas Debate at National Tournaments has become consistently become a force to reckon with year after year. Makes me proud to be a former debater in Kansas!
What did I do with the day off? I went to SMS and renewed my MVP training! I am so thankful @theSMSD had this training today. Also great to see @SMSRaidersAD and @SMSouthTDain while I was in the building….oh and Abbey too!

A Message from @YeagerBrent:
I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your understanding and patience as we’ve all navigated through the extreme temperatures and record setting snowfall over the past few days. What a way to start off the new year! As a parent, I know the excitement a snow day announcement can bring to my own kids– for them, it’s like winning the weather lottery! But as a superintendent, I also know the challenges a snow day can pose for families as well as all the hard work that takes place behind the scenes to clear our 60+ campuses of the snow. Thank you for your flexibility and continued support during these snowy stretches.
I would be remiss if I did not give a special shout-out to our hardworking operations staff and custodians for all that you have done to make our schools accessible. Your efforts are truly appreciated.
While it is not our standard practice to communicate when we anticipate school to be in session as regularly scheduled, this one feels a little different. We are excited to welcome our students and staff back to school tomorrow and I want to give everyone time to make plans to ensure you are ready for a great day of school. In addition, I wanted to share that transportation services will run as normally scheduled. However, please exercise caution and patience as our buses navigate the snowy conditions. Thank you for your continued partnership!
