So today, I’m grateful for the angel who crossed my path on a difficult night.
And my prayer is simple:
May we all become the kind of people who show up for others…even when there’s nothing to gain.
The world becomes better when kind hearts exist in it. ❤️
End. ✨

Maybe one reason the world feels increasingly disconnected is because we’re not teaching kindness enough.
We’re not modelling it enough.
And we’re not intentionally passing it on.
32.
The world needs more people like her.
People who help because they can.
People who care because they’re human.
People who understand that kindness costs little but means everything.
31.
Imagine if she had walked past me.
Imagine if she had said:
“Not my problem.”
Imagine if she had chosen convenience over compassion.
My night would have ended very differently.
29.
We live in a world where many people think everything must have a benefit attached.
Money.
Networking.
Connections.
Personal gain.
But sometimes the greatest gift you can give someone is simply showing that you care.
27.
I had never met her before.
Never helped her.
Never done anything for her.
Yet she gave me her time.
Her concern.
Her energy.
Her phone calls.
Her empathy.
25.
At that point, I didn’t even care about the charges.
The negotiation spirit inside me woke up briefly…
But I quickly suppressed it. 😭😂
Freedom first.
24
Immediately, I grabbed my things, jumped into a keke, and headed back.
Less than 10 minutes later…
The car was open.
Done.
Finished.
Glory be to God! 🙌
22.
I eventually left and went home.
After all, my house key was trapped inside the car too.
I got to my estate looking completely defeated and headed to my neighbour’s place.
21.
Meanwhile, I had already given up.
The security men had started discussing how they would “help” me the next morning…
With the kind of billing that would require fasting and prayer. 😭😂
20
Network was terrible.
I couldn’t hear him properly.
So guess what?
She followed up again.
At this point it was almost 10pm.
This woman still hadn’t forgotten me.
19.
She asked if anyone had come.
I said no.
She told me she had finally reached a panel beater and would send me his number immediately.
I called him.
He was already on his way.
17.
She got into her Benz and drove off.
Chai.
This woman fine o. 😭😂
The nose ring was completing the package.
Meanwhile, I was standing there looking like a rejected applicant for peace of mind.
16
It was getting late.
I felt bad keeping her there.
So I told her:
“Please Ma, go home. Maybe keep trying from there.”
She asked if I was sure.
I said yes.
