The Old Town of Dubrovnik, Croatia. Taken in Aug 2020. Managed to sneak in during a break in the Covid restrictions and we had the town pretty much to ourselves. This was also one of the filming locations for Game of Thrones.
Taken in 2021 in Melnik, HR in the gardens of Hotel Rezidenence Liběchov. I pushed it quite a bit using Adobe Lightroom. The town is quite off the beaten path, but was a lot of fun for cycling and hiking. The hotel was fantastic.
The train station in Liege, Belgium (2022). The roof tiles were part of an art installation by French conceptual artist Daniel Buren. Titled "Comme tombées du ciel, les couleurs in situ et en mouvement". They are no longer in place, but they looked amazing on a sunny day.
Haven't posted to this account for a while...need to get back to it. This shot was taken at the Choo Choo Barn in Strasburg, PA, USA. A really cool model train setup that has been there since I was a child.
Ushuaia, Argentina in Dec 2022. Just got off the ship from Antarctica and the first stop was the barber to lose the beard at the wife's request. She was a good sport for the 2 months it took to grow it for the trip. First time I had a shave with a straight razor.
This statue "De Vaartkapoen" at Place Sainctelette in Brussels Belgium has been removed while they do a complete reconstruction of the intersection. Hopefully they will incorporate it back into the square after reconstruction. It is a big hit with the tourists.
A shot from April 2019 at the Royal Greenhouses in Laeken, Belgium. I was surprised at how well this one came out since I shot it free hand (no tripod).
Congrats, Alex on this terrific shot of a mangrove tree on the shoreline of Florida Bay, which won an honorable mention in our 2023 Photo Contest! See all honorable mentions here: https://t.co/HXYMyztb5n

I took this shot in Aug 2020 when we snuck down to Dubrovnik, Croatia during a short break in the Covid restrictions. Managed to spend time in the old town without the tourist crowds.
Taken from a balcony in Brussels in April 2020. Not an optimal location for a night sky shot, but it came out ok. I really like how it came out after a bit of manipulation in LightRoom.
