I visited Aksoos Book Store on its 12th anniversary and new branch opening, a hopeful moment for our reading culture. To Afghan youth: a book is the foundation of a nation’s awakening and progress; every reader helps illuminate the future of their nation.
@aksosbookstore
It was a pleasure to participate in the @AntalyaDF and to accompany the Afghan Minister of Industry and Commerce, alongside my colleague @AQanit .
The forum served as a valuable platform for meaningful engagement and exchange with leaders, policy makers and intellectuals. Afghanistan remains committed to constructive, pragmatic and result oriented dialogue and continued interaction with the international community.
I would like to extend my congratulations on the successful convening of the forum and express my sincere appreciation to Ambassador @cerginay for the kind invitation, warm hospitality, and constructive exchanges.

Mustafa,
Your analysis of Afghanistan through a liberal democratic lens reflects the same fundamental miscalculation that the so-called cradle of modern democracy, the United States, made over the past two decades. Imposing external political frameworks onto a society with its own deeply rooted historical, religious, and social structures has repeatedly proven counterproductive.
Afghanistan cannot be understood, let alone evaluated, through abstract ideological templates detached from its historical and societal realities. Your argument appears to overlook the complexity of Afghanistan’s political evolution, its tribal dynamics, and the central role of religion in its social fabric.
Before offering prescriptive judgments, it would be prudent to engage more seriously with Afghanistan’s history, its political traditions, and the lived realities of its people. Commentary that disregards these foundations risks repeating the very analytical errors that have already cost the country dearly.
This week, Dr. Abdul Hai Qanit (@AQanit), Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, and I along with our teams sat down to discuss how our two research organizations can work together to advance our shared agendas for Uzbekistan-Afghanistan partnership filling it with substance in all aspects.
We also discussed some of the ways of raising awareness among the public about current dynamics in our countries and the whole region through fostering understanding, changing attitudes, and driving action.
I look forward to translating our long-term strategic goals into actionable initiatives that our think tanks will undertake in the years ahead.
İHH ve @insamerresearch iş birliğiyle düzenlediğimiz İNSAMER Çalıştayları Serisi’nin dokuzuncu programına ev sahipliği yaptık. “Pakistan ile İlişkiler Bağlamında Afganistan’ın Dış Politikası” başlıklı çalıştayda, insani diplomasinin, diyalog ve sivil toplumun barışçıl çözümlerdeki önemi vurgulandı.
Tüm çalışmalarımızın merkezinde barış, diyalog ve ortak geleceğe dair sorumluluğumuz yer almaktadır. Bu anlamlı sürece katkı sunan herkese teşekkür ederiz.
