I’ve lost count of the number of times Labour slides from one pile of dogshit straight into another, not having enough time to clean themselves up before inexorably slipping straight into the next one.
@archer_rs I am, not about Brexit#2, but the wilful blindness so many people have about the future of this country. There are no Elysian Fields, Archer.
@GoodwinMJ Voters? The left are laughing at Farage & Lowe and filling their boots at every opportunity, Matt. If they can’t get their s**t together the Tories will seem ever more attractive & consign Reform & Restore to the one-hit-wonder bin. JFDI.
@RollingHedge 100%. Most Brits are perfectly capable of seeing/accepting that distinction but the left, and the Labour govt, refuse to believe we can & instead seek to lock us up on charges of far-right racism. I think it’s their wilful blindness stoking tension as much as anything.
@Sacha118848 She’s been stubbornly sticking to her principles since she was binned off, which I took to be sour grapes, but listening to her here …. you might be right.
@GuidoFawkes Just shows how little the Greens are interested in the man-on-the-streets issues, but super excited to talk about how their party has rocked another political party. So pathetically Westminster centric.
@ItsJamesHall You’re right to be worried. In fact a recession is the least to be worried about if Labour don’t pull back slaughtering the country’s credit card.
@charliebakers13@Adam_Drury1 Thanks for the clarification. Really not a good look in the current economic climate to be spending another gazillion on legal fees for both.
@David__Osland With Europhiles in charge across the whole of the state apparatus, of course we didn’t get Brexit as was intended. It would have been an amazing example of democracy in action if we had! But of course you already know that.
@Lord_Sugar Everyone I know would disagree. No-one at the time thought it was anything other than a once in a lifetime opportunity for us plebs to decide our future in Europe, certainly not a GE! Who fed you that line??!
@DPJHodges The apolitical bond markets don’t agree, Dan. In fact they disagree so much gilt rates have gone up, again. Looks like Crash n Burnham vibes are just that. Tic toc til he’s gone.
@tonypatt2000 Hey don’t forget power strikes, bins uncollected, low productivity, excessive union power, the dead not buried, IMF intervention, high inflation and glass ceilings for all but the toffs. Some problems my arse.
@dontbrexitfixit You forgot one important factor. No one can name a single Rejoin benefit, not a single one. The world has moved on since 1970, and since the Referendum but you lot haven’t.
Spare me the Progressive lanyard, you’re simple, out of touch Delusionists.
@SteveShovlar Burnham’s bereft of evidence that rejoin is in our interest (nb vibes ain’t evidence) and until he sets it out for proper scrutiny (nb it won’t stand up), all he’s doing is playing to his own audience. He’s fake.
