Haytham Wardani talks about the unselfing of the 'I', and the case of Naji, and the struggle of the 'I'

[ArabHub هبّ العرب @ArabHubBerlin]

Mona Kareem: there was actual an absurd investigation by the prosecutors into Naji being the one who performed the fiction he wrote

[ArabHub هبّ العرب @ArabHubBerlin]

Haytham Wardani: Naji's novel is written in first person, and exactly because of this he was accused; they considered that he confessed

[ArabHub هبّ العرب @ArabHubBerlin]

Haytham Wardani: interestingly the case of Naji and his imprisonment is rooted in the old media, not the new media

[ArabHub هبّ العرب @ArabHubBerlin]
