For the want of not sounding classist, I think it makes sense not to argue with people who think N500k salary can give a comfortable life in Nigeria.
They’re speaking from their own perspective.
There are very few cities in Nigeria where you can earn up to N500k in Nigeria to start with.

There’s no way someone on N150k salary can relate to this topic. They see nothing wrong in living in a slum with no electricity, having to take their phone to a barbershop down the road to charge, eating once or at best twice a day, etc.

In their minds, when they eventually start earning 500k, they’ll maintain their one room apartment without a kitchen or private toilet. Their response is based on their reality.
