I genuinely struggle to understand this.
How does someone stand up one day and passionately argue that a government has failed the country, only to stand in the same Parliament a few months later defending it with equal conviction?
Which version was true?
SAURAV DRAWS A HARD LINE BETWEEN PROFANITY AND CRIMINALITY 🚨
REPORTER: Noida Police filed an FIR against a young woman for abusing the Prime Minister. Your response?
SAURAV DAS 🎯: Condemn her language if you want. But profanity does not justify criminal machinery. Police are targeting one girl to make an example of India’s youth.
REPORTER: Even government critics found her video objectionable?
SAURAV 🔥: Dislike her words. If Modi feels defamed, he can personally approach the court. Police cannot become his answer to speech.
REPORTER: What if this harassment continues?
SAURAV ⚠️: Govt promised no new FIRs on July 25. Honour that agreement or CJP will call another nationwide protest.
In 2023, I reported from #Manipur regarding #pellet gun injuries suffered by 17 yr old Kishan Loitongbam. He was a class 12 student in Imphal who took part in a school students protest, after two fellow students went missing and were later found dead. Kishan was shot with a #pellet gun by RAF personnel at point-blank range in his right shoulder. His shoulder was shattered. Doctors told me that there were around 90 pellets lodged in his shoulder, but they could remove only 60.
Another , 17 yr old student, Soaibam Uttam, suffred pellet injuries to his head. More than 50 pellets were lodged in the back of his head. Along with them, six more school students suffered pellet injuries. All eight of them were minors. At that time, Kishan's father asked me ," The RAF could have used water cannons or carried out a lathi charge to disperse the students. Why did they have to use pellet guns against student protesters?Have #pellet guns ever been used against school students protesting in #Delhi, #Mumbai or other parts of mainland India? Then why only in Manipur?"
I had answered him 'no' back then. But three years later, pellet guns have also been used against protesters in #Delhi, may be not on minors, but definitely people participating in a student protest.
If the police alone get to decide what is an "exceptional situation," then doesn't every situation become exceptional whenever they want to justify the use of #PelletGuns?
Given below are the then X-rays of the pellet injuries suffered by Kishan and Soaibam.
My friends, sm family & media friends : this is the designated spot to give bites to media. Yet see the police including 2 lPS to stop me from speaking against Ethanol 20 blending policy!
Why wont this happen to u? My Instagram account is also suspended...
Day 10. Still no action against Delhi Police cop Naveen Rathi, who allegedly tried to shove a baton into a girl, and no action against Sandeep Lamba, who slapped a female protester.
We'll keep following up. Every single day.
We don't need a hi-fi studio or a fancy mic to do our job. Blinkit se order kiye hue mic se bhi sawaal poochte rahenge.
The new anti-paper leak law is pure damage control, not prevention. We don't need a stack of new penalties after millions of students' futures are ruined; we need secure systems and actual execution.
Using state machinery so vindictively against 25 year old protestor Ruchika Singh is shameful. This government will never learn. Nobody should ever trust them.
The way Indian politicians are looting India can easily humble 200 years of British misrule in India.
They built the Howrah Bridge around 100 years ago, and it is still standing.
They built a bridge a week ago that has been washed away after the first rain.
Very valid point.
Even a small private limited company has to make its balance sheet public every year.
How come a Prime Minister created a relief fund, when there was one already existing, and make the public donate and never subject it to public scrutiny?
PM CARES fund received Chinese donations. Is that why he is staying silent on China quietly advancing inside our borders to control Arunachal Pradesh?
Photographing a peaceful protest is not a crime. Detaining a 21-year-old for hours without informing his family is not law enforcement, it is intimidation.
We stand firmly with Saif Ali and his family. We demand his immediate release and full disclosure of his whereabouts to his parents.
Imagine being more critical of teens using memes & defamatory language than you are of your own government’s violence and crackdown on freedom of speech.
Nitin Gadkari now (27.06.2026)
“I have nothing to do with mixing ethanol in petrol.”
Nitin Gadkari then (14.06.2026)
“Today is a day of happiness for me. Last night at 8 PM, I signed the file finalizing the rules to legally approve the use of 100% ethanol.”
The contrast has sparked questions.
The public cannot stand at the bus stand built with public taxes, because VIP protocol comes first.
This scene in Jaipur is absolutely shameful, as the protectors of the public are chasing away pedestrians and bikers who are standing under the tin shed of the bus stand to escape the heavy rain.
Is VIP protocol more important than humanity?
Or does the common man not have the right to seek shelter at the bus stand?
