I've wanted to do a painting of Byleth in Almyran court attire and I based her attire off of the ending illustration in VW, Claude & Nader's clothes and off of Sassanian P*rsian and Ott*man clothing.
One of my favorite things in jaadugar was that Genghis Khan never gets a face reveal.
he’s always shown from behind or represented by a wolf. There’s always this sense that you’re looking up at someone beyond the reach of ordinary people. It makes him feel larger than life, almost mythological, instead of just another character confined to the pages of the story. That’s a very fitting way to portray someone like him in this setting.
Then I looked at tomato soup-sensei’s old stuff… Wait. Who is this?? Is this actually him???
He just… casually has a face all this time?? Since when is Genghis Khan allowed to be this cute??
His hair reminds me of an animal’s fur. It seems so light and fine, the kind of hair that would completely flatten the second it got wet. You can already tell from the manga and anime that he kinda has a long bob going on. But I guess he’s always had grey hair even when he was young? He reminds me a lot of a little grey wolf.
Can we bring back using the term ‘squick’. Perhaps even ‘nOTP’.
Just make things into a simpler matter of “I really don’t like this fictional thing and will avoid it” instead of “liking this fictional thing is a moral failing and I hope you eat lead for it”.
