Larry Madow is another USELESS journalist on the international stage!
Kenya, his homeland, hosts one of the most significant summits in the world, but he has given it a blackout!
If it was the JKIA roof LEAKING, he'd have already broadcast it to the whole world.
He only reports negative things about Kenya in his FAKE ACCENT!
Age is brutal.
Can’t believe this is the same Njoki Ndungu who used to drive the likes of Chris Murungaru and other powerful men absolutely crazy back in the Kibaki-era.
Men were so thoroughly simped out that they literally passed her Sexual Offences Bill 2005 without any serious interrogation, debate, or pushback.
Just like that.
The bill sailed through because a certain demographic had lost all sense of reason.
Time has not been kind.
@RobertAlai Oparanya was awarded ministerial position because of ODM now is back stabbing it , let him leave the ship and support sifuna for presidency . This is a wild goose chase and if he thinks ODM is no longer important let him resign , he will be a pawn in this political chess game
Moses Wetangula is 1000% right!
President Uhuru served for 10 years without Kibaki or Moi disturbing him.
It's only fair for Uhuru to let his successor Ruto work peacefully!
Uhuru, as the only living former president, should take a statesman's role & become a unifying factor.
President Ruto: I sometimes wonder when I see people say how much of a crisis we have in education, I don’t know why people always want to see the glass as half empty and not half full.
The owner of Montezuma must really have a tribal mind which takes Kisumu as only full of dying flies whose biggest investment near a highway is a 150 capacity mortuary.
In Nairobi they have a 48 capacity mortuary but they think that Kisumu must get a bigger one.
Did I tell you that Alionya is headed to the Senate?
Well, here she is receiving anointing from the ODM Party Leader Dr. Oburu Oginga.
Congratulations!
I saw someone ask, “What exactly has Edwin Sifuna done in the Senate?”
Fair question.
Because in Kenyan politics, too many leaders are loud on TV and silent in Parliament.
So I checked the record.
So far, Sifuna has tabled 3 Bills and pushed 3 major people-centred motions:
1. Sports (Amendment) Bill
To reform sports governance, improve accountability in sports bodies, and protect athletes from mismanagement.
2. Energy (Amendment) Bill
To address high electricity costs, strengthen regulation in the energy sector, and push for fairer pricing for consumers.
3. Office of the County Printer Bill
To institutionalize county publication of laws and notices, making county governments more transparent and accountable.
And his motions?
1. Abolishing parking fees in hospitals, malls and airports
Because access to hospitals and essential services should not come with punitive charges.
2. Inquiry into deputy governors’ welfare and protection
To address the growing trend of political frustration, humiliation and sidelining of deputy governors.
3. Electricity cost reduction reforms
To push government and regulators to lower the cost of power for households and businesses.
On top of that, he has been active in Senate oversight committees, questioning governors, including Johnson Sakaja, on accountability. He has also submitted several statements in the Senate. And much more is on the way.
This is why some of us support Sifuna.
Not because we are blind.
Not because of party loyalty.
But because we checked the receipts.
Before dismissing him, show us your MP or Senator’s record first.
@KenyaPower_Care who bears the losses occasioned by your prolonged power outage restoration process? My house has now been without electricity for over 24 hours, with no visible progress or communication on restoration timelines. Food stored in fridges and freezers is already going to waste. Kindly prioritize immediate intervention and restore power without further delay.
It was great meeting with the immediate former Governor of the CBK, Dr Patrick Njoroge who is currently a Professor at MIT and former PS for Petroleum and Mining Andrew Kamau who is currently the Director of Energy Opportunity Lab at Columbia University. We met at Cambridge, MA.
Excellent Kenyans serving the world from a different continent. Phenomenal conversations.
We are African and Africa is our Business.
I missed my flight in Nairobi once because of traffic on Mombasa Road.
Like fully missed it. I got to the airport sweaty, exhausted, dragging my suitcase like it personally betrayed me.
I already knew there was no chance, but I still ran to the counter hoping for mercy.
The woman checked her screen, looked at me, then said, “You were the last passenger.”
I laughed a little because what else do you do at that point?
Then she lowered her voice and said, “The plane is still on the ground.”
Next thing I know this airport employee is SPEED WALKING me through the terminal like we’re in an action movie.
Security waved me through, another worker grabbed my carry-on to help me run, and I’m apologizing to literally everyone while fighting for my life.
I got to the gate completely out of breath.
The guy scanning boarding passes looked at me and said, “Eh, Nairobi traffic. We understand.”
People on the plane actually clapped when I walked in looking half dead.
I have never respected airport workers more in my life. Big up to them.
Karen Nyamu MUST step down or be removed from the Senate!!
What happened to that student in Senate was deeply inappropriate and honestly very uncomfortable to watch. A child walked into a national institution under a school program and somehow ended up being spoken about in a suggestive manner by an adult holding public office.
And no, we will not reduce this to “Karen just being Karen..” There are certain lines that should never be crossed, especially when children are involved!!
A young girl should be able to walk into Senate and leave feeling inspired, respected and safe, not embarrassed, sexualized or turned into the center of inappropriate remarks in front of an entire room and the country.
Public office comes with responsibility, maturity and self-control. If someone cannot understand the weight of their words around minors, then they honestly should not continue occupying such a position.
And honestly, this entire situation raises very serious questions about how Karen Nyamu even ended up in the Senate in the first place.
Who nominates these people?
What exactly is the criteria?
What values are being rewarded?
What kind of conduct qualifies someone to represent Kenyans at that level?
Because if this is the standard being normalized in our public institutions, then we genuinely have a deeper crisis as a country.
An apology alone is not enough. There must be accountability.
As the nation steadily approaches the forthcoming general election, I have respectfully called upon the retired President, Uhuru Kenyatta, to withdraw from active political engagement and to fully embrace his esteemed role as a unifying statesman.
While addressing citizens at Lunyofu Primary School in Budalang’i, I acknowledged his enduring legacy of service to the Republic. However, I expressed concern that his recent public statements, though significant, risk deepening divisions at a moment when our country stands in urgent need of cohesion, stability, and national unity.
I further observed that former Heads of State, notably the late Daniel arap Moi and the late Mwai Kibaki, exemplified the dignified tradition of statesmanship upon retirement. I therefore urged him to follow in their distinguished footsteps and uphold this noble precedent.
These sentiments were echoed by several leaders in attendance, led by Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot, who likewise called upon the former President to fully embrace the responsibilities and expectations befitting his retired status.
Kisumu City, my Home. Thank you 🙏, I owe you and I shall make you happy soon. I told you, Kenyans, that those GOONS are USELESS. I knew I would manage of all them and that’s exactly what happened. Next time, don’t joke with me if you are a Goon.
