"You can draw near to God even though you cannot say a word. a prayer may be crystallized in a tear.
A tear is enough water to float a desire to God."
- Charles H. Spurgeon
Remember, a thought is words to God too.
Who meditates upon the *holiness* of God in a due manner, so as to ponder what we ourselves ought to be, how holy, how upright, how clean, if we intend to please him or enjoy him?
If we tell the world they need Jesus, but our lives look no different from theirs, why should they do anything except continue on their own way?

It is His preservation of His elect through His High Priestly intercession to the Father for us. I thank God for the trials of this season that broke me, for they taught me to rely on Him more.
I thank God for this season of mine in 2023. It was His providence that placed me here. I remember praying to God to increase my faith; therefore, He sent trials (hahaha, be careful what you pray for).
I'm thankful for Him, even though there are times I doubted my salvation because of Satan's lies. It is His grace that reminds me through His word that my salvation is not mine to hold, that I may persevere.
