@dzeeff Tried to give the deck more options at breaking boards going 2nd and some consistency tools, along with more ways to protect Toon World/Kingdom from removal. I still kept the summoning sickness weakness for flavour, but that might make the cards worse as a result.

@atrocityTCG voiceless is already self sufficient. The new ritual feels more at home in nouvelles since one of the chefs can search it and be tributed for the raven's ritual summon. The problem is then you're playing nouvelles + droll

@atrocityTCG I feel like K9 would rather have another decent main deck level 5 since pure K9 is already down bad for them and plays stuff like linkslayer/disablaster. Depends on if they would rather push K9 as an additional engine for other decks or not

@LMJeffJones the deck's insistence on multiple pieces pairing together instead of streamlined cards that achieve 2-3 things in 1 card is a bit outdated these days. A funny thing tho is that K9 can hard make marksman king tell which you can then link off to foolish something so hey neat???

@ThePacifistRat I also prefer playing masquerade package, since my usual line is to pop case of k9 to guarantee the 2nd rank up. I think the main issue with this build is burning your ED in the grind, so I run mudora/keldo to be a disruption that also recycles important ED pieces

@ThePacifistRat I've actually been playing this deck for a while for fun with friends for proxies. It has a really good dtail matchup and the runicks are decent into dealing with stuff like yummy's herald. I would still run freki as a lv5 extender + it can beat over smol yummy or ip (cont.)

@RafaelReich1 yeah, i know people have been saying that this is the healthiest format we've had since 2024 (which isn't incorrect) but i feel like i'm playing a minigame with crossout/called by/talents and one popular meta deck is also designed to play the minigame of lancea/shifter

@LMJeffJones dunno if you tried it already but white forest with this deck is also kinda fun. Tales is live cuz MAN is a spellcaster and you can ofc send trap monsters for wf effs. Anubis is a fiend which opens up some cool fusions with aza elzette. Deck is fun but going 2nd ripppp

@LMJeffJones It would also make the alt arts more future proof because chances of an old archetype suddenly getting a card on a banlist are much lower than a staple like Called By being hit. It feels like ygo in general doesn't do alt arts as often as other games like pokemon for example

@atrocityTCG @Tcoren1 You can advocate for both. So long as there are disagreements and grifters advocating for AI use you can't have immediate regulations because haha we love bureaucracy. Anything that updates the status quo and invites change I'll take over OpenAI peddling their BS
