Venemaa probleemide algpõhjus pole ei Putini isiksus ega tema loodud valitsemissüsteem, vaid viis, kuidas Moskva näeb teisi riike, rahvaid ja iseenda sõlmitud kokkuleppeid.

This is a disgraceful and irresponsible decision by the IOC.
While Russia continues its campaign of terror against Ukraine, the IOC has chosen to turn a blind eye, lifting restrictions and effectively clearing the way for Russian athletes to return to international competitions. This is not neutrality, it is complicity.
Hundreds of Ukrainian athletes, coaches, and young talents have been killed or robbed of their Olympic futures because of Russia’s aggression. Yet the IOC refuses to confront this reality.
At a moment when Russia persists in its assault on Ukraine, the priority cannot be to rub shoulders with the aggressor. It must be to reinforce isolation, uphold international law, and defend the integrity of sport.
Rewarding aggression only invites more of it.
UEFA expresses its shock that the collapse of the rules-based international order didn’t exempt football aka soccer. “When the certainty of rules is no longer guaranteed by its guardians, the integrity of the game is at stake and the credibility of a competition is undermined.” https://t.co/WMtC4IPaNl

On 17 June 1940, more than 100,000 Red Army troops occupied independent Estonia.
What followed were decades of terror, repression and lost freedom. Yet the occupiers never broke the Estonian people's will to be free.
