@Tretrutar @toodamnsalty99 @CNviolations Parenthesis goes away as soon as all functions within it are solved. The priority of the parenthesis only applies to the inside.
Also if a sign isn’t specified on the outside of a parenthesis then it is multiplication.

So 6/2(3) is the same as 6/2x3

Do it left to right = 9

-5^2+25 =0

To get 50 they would need to be written:

0+(-5)^2+25 =50
25+(-5)^2 =50
(-5)^2+25=50

I’m curious what the consensus answer would be if it was rewritten as:

0 - 5^2 + 25 = ?

Would the majority still think it’s 50 or 0?

-4+3+17

If you absolutely wanted to use parentheses to visualize it then it would be 17+(-4+3)

You’re misapplying his logic by excluding the negative from the 4. Why?
