@Gary_Bushey@MatthewCappucci I believe there are a few in super remote places, but you are expected to go to the nearest border patrol office and report yourself as entering or something
@wx_macomb@SoutheastMIWX Yeah I go to sleep all tired because I couldn’t sleep. Not because the storm kept me up. Because I kept me up because lightning pretty.
@wx_macomb The gusts were out of the southeast even with the storm moving eastward. Almost blew me off balance a few times even with the garage there.
Definitely worth getting soaked to experience it though. Had my wife beside me, getting over her fear of storms.
@mich_enjoyer@HollandMiSpouts B is my happy place. A is typically considered more beautiful, but my heart belongs to B. C is just home to me. D is too close to Ohio.
@brickthinksred@ndgo1370@Tomko_1@volvoks99 Wood framed houses with brick exteriors are not the same as brick houses.
However I don’t believe fully brick houses would have survived any better in this case.
@volvoks99 A tornado is rated by the worst damage along its path. The tornado will not leave IF4 damage from start to end. This is a cherry-picked photo from a weaker portion of its path.
@RoncaHohn As rated on a damage scale, yes. It absolutely did F5 damage by a huge margin.
Does that mean it had the wind speeds associated with an F5 damage rating?
Maybe. Maybe not. But that doesn’t change a damage-based rating.
@rabbit_stew_ My state is literally shaped like a mitten.
Everyone here learns where they live as soon as they can consciously form the state with their hand lol
