Fanatics who castigate those of other faiths are themselves bigots in the first place. What we hate in others often reveals as much about ourselves. And if the other faith were completely wiped out, what would you find to hate next?

Reading John ‘Lofty’ Wiseman’s SAS Survival Handbook, only to never follow it entirely. Its outright instruction to discard wood sorrel (oxalic acid), which was high on my list for wilderness survival, is rather off-putting.
Parliament costs taxpayers ~₹2.5 lakh/min.
7,023 mins lost in the Monsoon Session = ₹175.6 crore of taxpayers’ money wasted.
And the irony? After passing a Bill protecting Vande Mataram, the House sang it and adjourned sine die.
@drshamamohd If your cook plays the Gayatri Mantra every day, how do you not know that the chant at the IIT convocation isn't the Gayatri Mantra? It's the Shikshavalli, the first chapter of the Taittiriya Upanishad.

हर एक घर में दिया भी जले अनाज भी हो, अगर न हो कहीं ऐसा तो एहतिजाज भी हो;

LoP Shri @RahulGandhi and @INCIndia continue to shamelessly exploit students as political tools to manufacture disruption during the Monsoon Session of Parliament.
Shri @RahulGandhi and @INCIndia chose to stage a dharna outside the Hon'ble Prime Minister's residence , causing inconvenience to the public and disregarding established security protocols.
Even after Government conveyed its readiness for a comprehensive discussion, the Congress chose political spectacle over democratic debate. Their objective was never solutions for students, it was disruption for political headlines
For Rahul Gandhi, this is not about students. This is about manufacturing confrontation after every genuine avenue for discussion has been opened.
Our Government remains 100% committed to discussing NEET and addressing every genuine concern of our youth on the floor of the House. The students of India deserve far better than being treated as props in a political campaign. They deserve certainty over chaos, solutions over slogans and responsibility over disruption.
We owe our students more than outrage. We owe them answers, reforms and accountability. That is exactly what our government remains committed to delivering.
Relating Justice Varma to the Cadaver Synod is a faulty analogy because 1. he got off scot-free under the pretext of resignation, 2. impeachment is about accountability, not merely removal, and 3. MPs themselves are too sanctimonious to sit in judgment.
They're not judges, they're accomplices and attempted rapists. Those who sympathize with criminals are protecting themselves before they protect the perpetrators. The whole collegium system shields that predatory mindset while pretending to dispense justice. Wholly dysfunctional!
The #Patna high court has held that removing a woman's salwar and pressing her chest, is not sufficient to establish the offence of attempt to rape. According to a report, the court made the observation while acquitting a man who had been convicted by a trial court for attempt to rape and wrongful confinement in connection with a 2008 incident at a photography studio in #Bihar's Banka district.

Gadkari is following suit with Brazil's E100 model, bypassing the fact that Brazil itself had to introduce flex-fuel vehicles to make it practical. Calling it "green" while promoting a fuel that depletes groundwater in a water-stressed nation confounds logic.
@MerriamWebster IIT'S 'SLEIGHT OF HAND,' NOT 'SLIGHT OF HAND.'
IT'S 'JUST DESERTS,' NOT 'JUST DESSERTS.'
IT'S 'BATED BREATH,' NOT 'BAITED BREATH.'
IT'S 'FREE REIN,' NOT 'FREE REIGN.'
IT'S 'SHOO-IN,' NOT 'SHOE-IN.'
THIS HAS BEEN A CAPSLOCK PSA.
Reminds me of the song "Chan Kithan" by Ali Sethi, which imagines the lovers reborn as a fish and an egret (a type of heron). The fish, of its own volition, gives itself to the egret, because in love, one has to make the ultimate sacrifice :)
@BRICSinfo Iran's rhetoric is hollow, and Trump's rhetoric is just smoke. They're hoodwinking the entire world. If they choose war, the entire world will reap the whirlwind.
The fact that English allows zero relative clauses makes the sentence much harder to parse. If you restore the omitted relative pronoun, it becomes much clearer: "Buffalo from the city of Buffalo, whom other buffalo from Buffalo bully, themselves bully buffalo from Buffalo."
“Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo.”
The above sentence actually means something and is grammatically correct.
Come with us on this journey where the buffalo roam.
