I thought it was very odd for the federal conservative leader to wade into Calgary municipal politics. Now this explains it. "Jenni Byrne is a former campaign manager and current adviser to the Conservative Party of Canada’s leader." (Note "current")

This is going to people that are on AISH - Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped.
Severely handicapped people, that have gone through an arduous process to qualify. They are being told they can work. Because UCP ideology.
It's cruel and should be criminal.
I've got a good idea in regards to fixing 24 Sussex Drive.
Sell Stornoway. Use the proceeds to fix the offical residence of the PM.
Besides, what other country uses taxpayer dollars to house the loser of an election?
It is a waste of money and high time this practice ended.
You can’t help but feel bad for average Albertans. The median individual after-tax income is $41,000 to $44,800. Who stands up for them. They’re not going to be able to afford profiteer medicine under Wild Rose Conservatives.
Everyday we are working together to make Canada a better place that works for all of us (see: Alberta-Canada MOU). Albertans are leaders in that work.
Separatism talk undermines that. It divides, damages and distracts at a time when we need to be united. https://t.co/ED89H8mf3v
Zero people have been killed by grizzlies in Alberta so far this year.
Four grizzlies have been killed by people having been deemed “problematic”.
The UCP have caused more harm than the bears.
Citizens Initiative.
Direct democracy.
10 questions on the fall referendum.
Not one of them initiated by the citizens of Alberta.
Every question put forward by Danielle Smith & her govt.
This govt treats Albertans like gullible marks.
Are we?
The UCP is handing nearly $100 million of Alberta taxpayers’ money to foreign multinational contractors — Australian and British-owned companies — to run our new disability employment system (ADAP).
Instead of supporting Alberta-based businesses and organizations that actually understand our communities and employ local people, they’re outsourcing to overseas for-profit firms.
This money should have stayed in Alberta. It should have gone to homegrown companies and non-profits that keep dollars circulating in our province and deliver services designed for Albertans.
Prioritizing foreign contractors over local talent isn’t supporting vulnerable people or building a stronger Alberta economy.

Talking to my colleagues in Edmonton EDs. Things have never been this bad… in >35yrs… not even close.
Our EDs have become almost non-functional for many.
And it will only get worse this fall.
And our Premier and Minsters are AWOL… only announcing unhelpful private care.
Smith openly admits that the referendum questions are about getting a "mandate" to centralize even more power under herself.
Look at what she currently controls. How is that going?
Why would anyone ever trust this government with more?
Bonnie Critchley's working her butt off in Tofield in the aftermath of their flooding....Poilievre made a statement and advised his office is open but he's NOT there actually helping! I hope some voters eyes are opened about the choice they made in that riding's last by-election

This is your pension announcement: We are patiently waiting for the @aimcoinvests Annual Report. Usually it is delayed until the end of June until all the MLAs have high tailed it out of town. No awkward questions please.
Today, the youngest Lukaszuk graduates from high school. We’re so proud!
Her hard work, determination, and curiosity brought her to this milestone, and we know this is only the beginning of an exciting journey. The future is bright, and she is more than ready to embrace it.
While Danielle Smith spends > $100M on a referendum to try & save her political skin, she’s cutting funding to women’s shelters.
“Alberta can’t claim to be addressing gender-based violence while simultaneously weakening the very services that keep women & children safe” #ableg
There is currently nothing in place to hold governments accountable for not listening to what actions or changes people actually want in their province.
The UCP keeps passing their own agenda and making decisions that they did not campaign on prior to the last election, or decisions that they insisted they would never make.
Danielle Smith is continuously changing the rules in favour of her friends and whatever her party wants. Now she is running a referendum without a single question proposed by any petition.
Currently thousands of Albertans who have already presented medical assessments showing that they cannot work are being forced out of AISH and into ADAP. Their monthly support has already been cut by $200, when the cost of living is increasing.
Albertans need to hold a province wide protest to show the UCP that their political overreach will no longer be tolerated, that the writ needs to dropped, and the move to ADAP must be cancelled.
