Be aware they are sending emails to organization stating false claims and taking $450 at minimum
Remember this scene from Living Single? Sitcom is not a solo act or monologue, it’s an ensemble convo. Have the discipline not to try to pull focus or win every par, but when necessary be prepared to strike! — That’s a bit of ‘fencing talk.’ I know, I’m watching the Olympics too!

Hosted a great med student symposium with the Homeless Outreach Project at Einstein yesterday! Thank you to all the fantastic speakers and med schools who came to share their experiences working with unhoused folks and @archerha for making this event possible! #HopeSymposium2022
I am DELIGHTED to be receiving this inaugural President’s Award for the Advancement of the Common Good at the upcoming Stanford Commencement on June 12, 2022!
🚨 Breaking news: my fiancée @taaron24 just found out she successfully defended her PhD. (Yes, I was creeping in the hallway.) Introducing DR AARON! So so proud! #PhinisheD#MDloading#4DocLove

Hi everyone, I know that COVID hasn’t been in the mainstream news much over the last few weeks, but we’re still very much in a pandemic. Mask up in indoor public areas. Try to stock up on your rapid tests. If you’re eligible to be vaccinated and boosted, please do.

So if you’re in leadership or are on committees that invite people for national & regional talks? Use your influence to help us with the #URiM academic pipeline by considering 1 of these people.
Let’s DO THIS, #MedTwitter.👊🏽

I explicitly say “with honorarium” because time is NOT a renewable resource. AND because while the “honor” is cool, when you don’t come from generational privilege, it’s even COOLER with an “arium” next to it.*
*I am so serious.

Because, for example, out of ~ 39K full professors in US med schools only ~ 300 are Black women. (Do that math—it’s <1%!🤬)
So while it’s cool to follow them here, I’m saying INVITE THEM and CITE THEM so that they can get promoted.
But wait—there’s more. . . .

Regarding #ampliFRIDAY:
1. If you are planning Grand Rounds or national/regional conferences, I’m suggesting #URiM people you should invite to speak.
2. This is a way to increase the number of professors from underrepresented & historically excluded backgrounds.
Mmm hmm.
.@DrBriannaNorton helped establish the Montefiore NYHRE clinic, which focuses on providing dignified #healthcare to people who have been marginalized.
