This auction was average for us tbh. A major flaw is the lack of a good Indian middle/lower order batsman, and a good replacement for our top 3 indian batsmen. Who do you play at 4,5,6,7? Is it brevis, sams, polly, david? And then play unadkat, benching tymal and riley?

Virat has been the greatest servant as our captain, and will continue to be our batting order's backbone in the future and deserves all the respect, but it was time for Rohit to take the mantle in LOIs. And it's time we won another world cup.

It is absolutely shocking to see the outrage of stupid fans spreading hate on social media everywhere, from BCCI's page , to sourav ganguly to rohit sharma. Some claim bcci was bribed by rohit, some claim that bcci has an agenda against Kohli. Some defend Virat as the captain.

As for the claims that this situation was handled unprofessionally, we have no proof. The decision was announced after a meeting wherein dravid, virat and rohit were involved.

Just watched footage of the 14 no-balls that Ben Stokes bowled today and which weren't called. Yes, the simple technology wasn't operational but some of those were huge no-balls. It wasn't that long ago that umpires were supposed to spot them.

Now that it's almost over, I realise that these two quarantine years kinda grew on me. I went from absolutely hating it, to now being sad that college is reopening. Maybe it's the people that I spent this time with, and the comfort of home that I enjoyed.
