@IT_unhinged What a great story! I felt like I was right there with you 😂
The whole "don't touch it, nobody knows what it does" situation was hilarious. And the Brian part absolutely killed me.
You just earned a follow!
I've been wondering why Poland's Ministry of Infrastructure is taking so long with Tesla FSD.
Now I know.
We have a saying in Poland:
"Mądry Polak po szkodzie."
Meaning: "A Pole is wise after the fact."
So they want to see how it works first, then approve it.
And as a Pole, I finally understand why 🤣
🚨 POLAND HID THE REAL TESLA FSD FILES FROM ME. UNTIL NOW 🇵🇱
I asked for ALL FSD records from January 2025. In September the Ministry gave me 2 emails and told me FSD "has never been tested on Polish roads".
Now they've sent 15 files. Tesla emails from May to October. Funny how they appeared once I pushed 🙃
The real bombshell is from 2 July. Before the meeting with Tesla, the Ministry told its technical institutes that information had emerged "raising doubts about the safety of the FSD system" 👀
What information? From who? Not a single word.
Then they put Tesla on the spot. The agenda: present the "areas of divergence" between FSD and UN R171.
The Dutch RDW approval? The Ministry calls it a "non-standard route". The decision rests with one man: the Director of TDT. No deadline.
Meanwhile Tesla kept knocking. Croatia approved. Slovakia's minister is writing to RDW to recognise it. Germany is backing it at EU level.
Europe moves forward. Poland "has doubts" it won't explain 🤡
So who's raising these "safety doubts", Poland? And when do we get to see the evidence?
By my count: 8 out of 21 days so far were resets, around 38%
I’ll take the resets, but I think Tibo has saved the truly significant releases for this week—the final week.
I suspect they know that Fable 5.5 is just around the corner, and that alongside 6.1 Terra, they’ll be releasing a new Astra, a "Bel" derivative.
That's good. Almost all my impressions came from replies.
My own posts sometimes got just 1 or 2 views, while very similar posts could get thousands (bigger accounts, more followers).
Good news for smaller creators: New posts may finally get a fairer shot at reaching people.
What matters most:
• First 2 hours are crucial
• Original content wins
• Reading time matters more
• Shares > likes
• Quality > posting frequency
• Engagement bait can kill your reach
Post less. Make every post count.
What if I built an app that lets me turn on a mini PC using a programmable button on my TV remote? Or even turn on both devices with a single button?
Interesting problem to solve, but now that Claude has blocked REA, how could the mini PC receive commands from the TV remote?
The whole point is to use the original remote that came with the TV, not two separate remotes.
A used mini PC over HDMI sounds promising, but do I need to boot it every time? I don't want it on 24/7. No streaming until it boots?
Sounds inconvenient for everyday use. An offline Smart TV talks less to its manufacturer, but streaming services still collect data.

‼️ Tailscale SSH Flaws Could Let Hackers Gain Root Access Across Servers
Details: https://t.co/BLfO3GLSaZ
A new security report warns that Tailscale SSH has flaws that could let a hacker move from one compromised device to root access on other servers. Tailscale SSH lets approved devices log in to each other over a private network. The report lists 11 findings in five groups.
They cover Tailscale’s SSH server, its serve and app connector features, the DERP relay client, and headscale, an open-source server that manages Tailscale networks.
The researcher tested Tailscale 1.104.2 and headscale 0.29.5 between October 22 and October 24, 2026. The most serious group involves Tailscale SSH. Its SSH server runs inside tailscaled, a background program with full root privileges on the machine.

first time ever letting Grok bot buy something for me…
it signed me up for Spotify's $1 trial, then cancelled it right after so I'd never get charged the $12.99.
and it told me the checkout page had hidden text telling AI agents to click an invisible button.
but it caught it and completely ignored it.
asked for my card through a secure form, stopped to confirm before charging anything, and handled the whole thing in a few minutes.
honestly one of the most impressive things I've seen an AI agent do considering how they made it so Grok Bot never sees any of the verification codes or payment methods.
On Joe Rogan's podcast, Marc Andreessen used the term "AI vampire" to describe someone who stays up all night building things with AI.
You can be so productive with AI that you end up sacrificing sleep.
A voice app needs testing beyond the accent used in its demo.
Hurston-1 generates English speech with accents including Southern US and regional African English. Its creator suggests using it to test where speech recognition struggles.
There are limits: voices can change between requests, and names and numbers remain difficult.
Try different speakers, accents and tricky sentences before calling your app ready.

AI saved you an hour.
How much of that saving survived the review?
Apollo economist Torsten Slok examined the S&P 500 excluding seven tech giants and found no clear improvement in the group’s margins or revenue per worker.
That aggregate analysis doesn’t tell you whether your particular AI workflow works.
Measure the whole job: the tool, the checking, the corrections and the value of the finished result.
