I agree that $TSLA is a great long-term investment. But if you manage your own portfolio, taking profits near major highs and buying back after significant corrections is simply good risk management. Institutional investors rebalance and take profits all the time. As the saying goes, what goes up must come down. Long-term investing and active portfolio management can coexist.

FSD growth: Bullish
Energy and services: Bullish
Margins: Bearish
Operating profitability: Strongly bearish
Free cash flow: Bearish
AI/Robotaxi progress: Long-term bullish, near-term expensive

Overall, I would classify this as:

Operationally strong, financially mixed-to-negative.

The company is growing, but it is spending heavily and accepting much lower current profitability to finance the AI, Robotaxi, Cybercab, battery and Optimus expansion.
