@SenTedCruz you realize a lot of the laws that this nominee is advocating to not prosecute are the very laws that allow you to defend yourself. Without those laws a person who defends themselves with any force is subject to prosecution because the foundational law is taken away.

You don't have to go through congress with a new tax bill or anything. Just create a shortage
