@ChappersChapman I’m very relaxed about it; given the upcoming movie, the merchandise, and the constant updates you share, I’m sure you’re working on something—and restoring the foundations is the most important step.
@S0nicbob Drew, I know you're not in the mood right now given the recent layoffs—and I imagine many of those affected were friends of yours—but can we at least know if the game will continue to be a priority for Rare and Xbox? Will future updates still be coming?
@KadofanHypnos@NimsyEu Si hai ragione ma per me va benissimo che si concentrino sulla salute del gioco, ma basterebbe anche una roud map che permetta a tutti di capire se hanno intenzione di riportare grandi e nuovi contenuti
@WeaponX_03@SeaOfThieves but look, it has actually dropped this last year and it remains one of the most played games on Xbox, it's a joke, right, but Xbox no longer has live action like sot
@Finley86415@Kharjo19@S0nicbob No ahahah That’s absolutely false. They said at the AP SotFEST—back in June—that no major content would arrive for six months. Those six months are almost up, and we still don't know what they have planned
@S0nicbob Drew, I really appreciate the effort you're putting into fixing the game and enriching the existing content. But can we get an answer? Is the game in maintenance mode? Will real updates return?
@KingHotdogPig@SeaOfThieves@RareLtd@XBOX@Activision It would be much nicer if by playing you could find materials like iron or other things to be able to upgrade the ship by spending gold, but once the session is over it goes back to how it was before, maybe Activision wakes up RARE
@Wermux In my opinion, to avoid making it pay-to-win, they could introduce ship upgrades—such as hull, cannons, etc.—that are removed at the end of the session, reverting the ship to its standard state; this would give a purpose to the gold.
@Facts_About_BK@LowIqPerson What are you talking about? That’s a truly stupid comment. For eight years, *SoT* has been the flagship live-service game—and it still is; Rare has never had another game on par with *SoT*. It would be downright stupid to abandon it, unless they’re making a sequel
