Ardoyne YC delivers a service to the young people of Ardoyne and surrounding communities, looking to enhance their educational development. New members Welcome
Last week, we hosted a few VIPs from Ardoyne Youth Club - which has been working to improve the lives of young people in North Belfast for 50 years - itβs also the very place where Jack grew up, which made the visit all the more special.
While new buildings continue to rise all around us our club a vital community hub that provides so much support and opportunity appears to have been forgotten.
This situation is unacceptable and must be addressed as a matter of urgency.
For far too long our young people have been left waiting for a much needed purpose built centre. In 2013, capital funding was approved by the Department of Education for a new building, yet more than a decade later nothing has been delivered.
β¨ ArdBone Fest 2025 was one to remember. From start to finish. It was packed with events and activities for all ages and the community support was nothing short of incredible.
A huge thank you to our funders, partners and sponsors who made it all possible π
Stay tuned later this evening for the reveal of next yearβs festival dates ππ
What an incredible night at the Fleadh Paint Party π¨β¨
This event is always one of the highlights of the year and once again it didnβt disappoint. A fantastic crowd of young people and plenty of parents too π All came together to enjoy the music, the atmosphere and of course the paint.
A huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers from local community organisations who gave their time and energy to make the night such a success. π
Weβre very grateful to the @TNLComFundNI for their support in making this brilliant event possible.
Hereβs to another unforgettable evening hope you all had as much fun as we did. π

What an incredible three days at our Soccer Camp. Over 100 young people joined us each day playing football, building skills and most importantly having fun. The smiles said it all.π
A huge thank you to our amazing coaches who make this camp so special every single year. π
Check out the highlights π β½οΈ

We have been supporting a group of young people from @ArdoyneYC who are currently in Africa working in night shelters supporting those who are homeless. Amazing stuff π
This morning, we welcomed @paulgivan to AYC to see firsthand the current state of our building.
Having been granted funding 11 years ago, our deteriorated building is still standing.
Massive thanks to @johnfinucane@NicholaBradley@GerryKellyMLA for arranging the meetings
Tonight young people from @ArdoyneYC visited services across Belfast supporting those affected by homelessness & provided support to a number of those sleeping rough. Thanks to @ExternCharity and Reaching Out Homeless Support for their time & fantastic work.

We want to thank our amazing senior lads and volunteers who worked tirelessly all morning along with staff to help get rid of the flood water. Ardoyne is a real special community β€οΈ
Yet again, our deteriorated building has let us down. The outdated internal drainage system felt the impact of storm Bert and this was the consequences. We have to replace floors, dry out skirting, throw water damaged equipment out so the financial implications are frightening.
Once again, this highlights then need for our new build project which was granted by Department of Education NI to get started ASAP.
Children and young people of Ardoyne deserve better than this.
Halloween Festivities kicked off in North Belfast tonight. What a great family event it was.
Parade, fireworks, disco and snacks for all families and young people.
Fantastic night ππ»ππ
