Spent the day at the SkillsUSA Land Surveying competition with members of TSPS Chapter 17 - Paso del Norte and @Arch_YISD. It was great to see so many knowledgeable young people applying their skill sets and making connections with local El Paso land surveyors!

Congratulations to the @Ysleta_YWLA middle school girls who competed in Spanish UIL. They won a combined 12 medals and took home the 1st place trophy 🏆 Shoutout to these students and their teachers for an amazing accomplishment! 🎉

Officially ending this test prep season with chalk drawings 🎨🖌

Each student had a different topic they needed to recap by including a diagram & key vocabulary. Once drawings were complete, they had a gallery walk where they interacted with their peers’ drawings 🤓

I am in the midst of test review for 8th grade science and AP Environmental - one of the toughest times of the school year 😅 Thank goodness I’m able to decompress in the garden 🪴 Eggplants, tomatoes, onions, broccoli, and beans are in the ground 🍆🍅🥦 #happyplace

Our @Ysleta_YWLA girls will be competing against other scholars from across Texas in the @ywprep STEAM Challenge. They’ve put in an incredible amount of work running trials, 3D printing molds & prepping their boards/presentations. I can’t wait to see them in action tomorrow! 👩‍🔬
