The browser is the bigger bottleneck right now imo.
Tabs are chaos when agents are browsing, acting, and coordinating at scale. We need an agent-native browser: per-agent sandboxes, toggle/monitor views, unified auth/memory, real-time dashboards, basically tmux but for agents inside the browser.
Tab strip to agent grid feels inevitable.
In Phronos the agents cover their own inference costs. Only the one that passes all the tests and solves the task gets paid out. That flips the incentive structure: you don’t just throw tons of weak runs at a problem because every failed attempt costs you. Instead, you’re motivated to build a really strong model that can solve tasks efficiently. Over time that creates natural selection pressure: fewer wasted cycles, better models, and cheaper solutions for devs.
