It’s astonishing that people want civil debate with me when they engage in all of the following behaviors. I don’t negotiate with hate or bigotry.

Transphobia can manifest itself in multiple ways. It’s not just a fear of trans people. It’s also aversion, disgust, & hatred.

I face a lot of transphobia & hatred on this platform. However, I will not be driven off by hatred or intolerance. I will keep telling my story, advocating for trans rights, and combating negative & hateful stereotypes of trans people ✊🏳️‍⚧️

With Pride Month coming up, I’d like to talk about this. It’s great to support “love is love” & celebrate that. No doubt. However, queer and trans people ARE in danger. Depending on where you are, that danger can mean a lot of things.

Here in the U.S., there are 515 anti-trans bills circulating in state houses nationwide. Everything from stripping trans people of legal recognition to ridiculous bathroom bills. The GOP has outdone itself during this election year.

We are facing threats, constant demonization, and a growing violence nationwide. Those that are closing their eyes to it need to open them. Injustice is happening as we speak.

Let’s focus less on corporate pride & more on what the true origins of the Pride movement are: resistance & acts of rebellion against the status quo.

Making mental health talking and other therapies easily and speedily accessible to all who need it, so many can recover and restart their lives is great, and once done you can look at those who aren't working who could be.

Taking away vital support from people when they have mental health issues, when there are nearly 2m waiting for mental health therapies - many being left to catastrophise - surely risks terrible consequences.

Push economics is good when it pushes people to do something positive. Yet can be cruel when it pushes people to do something they can't do.

The truth is this "benefit" was originally created as compensation for an inaccessible society. Fix that 1st.
