Even if humans keep the final say, more of the search, comparison, and filtering will be delegated to AI.
So what makes a brand worth choosing when the chooser is partly a machine?
Could a new brand be chosen by our AI before it’s even known by us?
AI is making software easier to build, copy, and catch up with.
Yet we still return to the same products and brands.
Maybe habit and trust matter more than we think.
If building the technology itself becomes less of a moat, what makes a brand hard to replace?
Maybe one day we won’t need to call AI by name at all.
If it already knows who’s speaking from our voice, context, and habits, why would I need to say Claude or GPT or AI?
Maybe I’ll just speak, and it’ll know.
I’ve been coding almost entirely with AI lately, and Claude, GPT, Gemini, Kimi, DeepSeek... somehow these names are becoming part of my everyday vocabulary.
Maybe it’s just repetition.
Still, I wonder what we’ll call AI once it becomes something we simply can’t live without.
In a world where one sentence to AI can buy a stock or order what I need, which app survives?
One that keeps asking me to navigate, choose, and confirm—
or one that understands my intent and handles the rest?
Maybe sooner than we think, we’ll be selling to AI.
There’s a Korean app called Toss that I keep thinking about.
What it does unusually well is reduce the number of decisions between intent and action.
Maybe great UX isn’t about minimizing choice.
It’s about minimizing unnecessary choice.
Markets evolve by making more things measurable, divisible, and tradable.
Technology is now quantifying what once couldn't be measured.
If more of that can be priced and traded in real time, could markets become even more capital-efficient?
As AI and robotics advance, technology is becoming cheaper and easier to replicate.
Forking a product will only get easier.
So what can’t be forked?
Maybe distribution, community, trust—and ultimately, brand.
If technology stops being the moat, what creates one?
In business, not having to rely on trust to settle a deal is everything.
Blockchain minimized the need for trust.
But as human judgment increasingly delegates to AI, does on-chain trustlessness solve the real problem?
Maybe we need to redefine the term entirely.
Focus and physical energy aren’t infinite, they come with a daily cap.
Yet the modern world is engineered to steal them with zero friction.
My main focus lately stop consuming someone else’s media. Turn finite attention into capital instead.
Feels like the best bet I can make.
I've been using AI tools a lot lately. They're smarter and more versatile than me in more ways than I expected.
Use AI lightly, and it's a lightweight tool. Take it seriously, and it becomes something more.
I think I need to become as familiar with AI as I am with my own hands.
