Argo

A ship of Argonauts. Board one, mint 1,000 Argonaut Pieces and trade $ARGO, or call it ashore whenever you like

[Argo @Argoharbor]

A full explainer on $ARGO is now live: how the vault issues $pARGO against Argonauts, why the pair is quoted in NFTs rather than ETH, the arbitrage bands that hold the peg, and the known limitations of an immutable contract.

100 Argonauts aboard, approximately $221,000 backing $ARGO

Making every holder whole, then ARGO v2

Before Argonauts v2 goes live, we're returning value to everyone who held the original tokens. The recovered treasury sits at 59 Argonaut NFTs, and it's going back to holders in full

Step 1: pARGONAUT holders first
All 47 pARGONAUT holders are made whole against the NFT backing:
1 NFT for every 1,000 pARGONAUT held
For the rest holding less than 1,000 pARGONAUT, they receive 0.0007 ETH per pARGONAUT

Step 2: ARGO holders
Snapshot was taken at 19:29 UTC, September 14, the moment liquidity was removed: at a $95,400 market cap. All 327 ARGO holders receive their proportional share, airdropped straight to their wallets:
1 NFT for every 18,900,000 ARGO held, the token-equivalent of 0.7 ETH
15.33 ETH: distributed at 0.037 ETH per 1,000,000 ARGO (0.000000037 ETH per token)

Everything is calculated 1:1 from the on-chain snapshot. No allowlist, no claims process: it arrives in your wallet

Step 3: v2, clean
Once holders are paid, v2 launches with no team treasury, no owner key, and no admin functions. The contracts hold only the NFT collateral that backs pARGONAUT: which belongs to redeemers, not us. No one (including us) can ever pause, sweep, change it or profit from it

That's the whole point: refund everyone, then hand it to the chain

[Argo @Argoharbor]

ARGO v2 launches today: ownerless from the first block, fully NFT-backed, and built to work the way v1 was always meant to

What happened?

We built ARGO to become fully decentralized and NFT-backed, with all ARGO trading flowing through the hooked ARGO/pARGONAUT pool. The mechanism was sound: but two things didn't play out the way we intended in v1:
- The pARGONAUT/ETH pool wasn't kept deep or arbitraged correctly, so the peg drifted and ARGO liquidity leaked to external, high-tax pools instead of concentrating in our hooked pool
- v1 was meant to be fully decentralized & ownerless, yet there were features that still allowed the team keys to manage the smart contracts

After proper R&D, we're fixing both (properly) in v2, relaunching: Today.

What v1 leaves behind (all real, all on-chain)
- Treasury peaked at 100 Argonauts, currently holds 60 backing pARGONAUT
- 142.2M ARGO burned in v1 (14.2% of supply) via the harbor toll & buybacks
- pARGONAUT stayed fully backed and pegged to floor throughout

Migration: nobody gets left behind
- v1 ARGO holders receive a 1:1 airdrop of v2 ARGO, with snapshot taken at the time of LP removal (already taken)
- pARGONAUT holders keep their redemption. The v1 vault is immutable: we have removed 50 Argonauts for relaunch, and 10 other argonatus remain claimable there by $pARGONAUT holders

What's actually new in v2
- Renounced and ownerless from launch: no owner key, no sweep power, verified contracts
- Trading forced through the hooked ARGO/pARGONAUT pool with deep, seeded liquidity and a proper ETH ramp, so aggregators route correctly and the V4 hook + burn actually captures volume
- v2 tokenomics: ~$150k initial market cap, with 42.3% of supply in the LP, 14% burned at genesis and the rest airdropped to holders, 1.5x to what they held today

Contracts, addresses and the snapshot details drop with launch

Restitution complete, every holder made whole: onchain, verifiable, done

pARGONAUT holders were settled against their NFT backing; ARGO holders received their exact 1:1 share from the 19:29 UTC snapshot. It's already in your wallet: no claim, no allowlist

We refused to dump the treasury to fund this. Selling 50+ Argonauts into the open market would have collapsed the floor and punished the very people we're making whole. So we funded the entire ETH refund from our own pocket and kept every NFT off the market. Holders first, the floor included

Refunds went to real wallets only. Liquidity pools, routers and contracts were excluded: their "share" would only sit stuck in a pool, not reach a person.

@RMAforever018 ETH, 1 to 1 in dollar value to your ARGO holdings at migration time

[Argo @Argoharbor]

The rest of the holders are receiving ETH

As Argonauts NFTs are down 18% today, in order to avoid a mass liquidation of NFTs, we will be funding the airdrops with ETH from our treasury, and airdrop every ARGO/pARGONAUT ETH 1:1 to the value of their ARGO or $pARGONAUT held

[Argo @Argoharbor]

The first Argonauts NFT airdrops have already been sent to pARGONAUT and ARGO holders:

0x24F660…000e4 who held 4,714 pARGONAUT received ARGONAUTS #11, #165, #277, #345

0x0121…Ced57 who held 23.9M ARGO received ARGONAUT #836

0x341e…e606 who held 21.9M ARGO received ARGONAUT #903

0xe066…01Bf1 who held 19.3M ARGO received ARGONAUT #1083

[Argo @Argoharbor]

@minwhy3 After snapshot was taken, the liquidity pools were removed and nobody should've been able to trade ARGO or pARGONAUT

@RMAforever018 Argo never had 20% tax, that was custom pools by liquidity providers

[Argo @Argoharbor]

@minwhy3 pARGONAUT is also migratin with ARGO. NFTs will be added back to the pool, and pARGONAUT will be airdropped back to the holders

[Argo @Argoharbor]

The $Argo vault now holds 65 Argonauts, roughly $135,000 of NFTs backing the pair

Anyone can buy an Argonaut, send it aboard, and mint 1,000 $pARGO: fractionalized Argonauts, tradable like any other token

$Argo is paired against $pARGO (paired to ETH), so $Argo trades against the NFT collection itself and accumulates more NFTs as price goes up

Right now 1,000 $pARGO goes for $2,120 while an Argonaut floor sits at $2,080: that gap is open to anyone

[Argo @Argoharbor]

$Argo is live

A memecoin paired with Argonauts NFTs, not ETH

Anyone can send an Argonaut into the vault and mint 1,000 $pARGO, or burn 1,000 $pARGO and pull one back out. That's the liquidity $Argo trades against

Every toll paid on either pool buys $Argo and burns it
