@tri_felicia If i do recall correctly, they turn into the rito because the water is not normal water. This is also the same reason that people can't fish in it. It can't support normal life, other than monsters and fishmen! I dont remember what they called the waters, though...

@MonsterMazeYT I interpreted it like how the travel medallion works. They dissappear in a bunch of particles, and most likely reappear buried somewhere underground. Waiting for the next potential calamity. I have a theory that this one's innards were taken out, prevent it from teleporting.
