I didn't know that hours late I'd be hearing about a mass shooting. Or see familiar streets or people. So my heart hurts and as a very recent Mainer, I'm trying to wrap my head around everything.

CW: Mass shooting. I've wanted to work in Lewiston since arriving in Maine this summer. I'm currently in the running for some job positions there. And yesterday, on my way home from helping my mother move, I stopped by, took a walking tour of the city, and then headed on home.

With so much change, I am doing my best to take care of myself and also scheduling breaks as I say goodbye to so much. I look forward to being settled in by the end of summer. Until then, DM me if you need something. <3

I think it might be life update time.
It's been a busy two months. In that time, I've:
- Graduated with a Master's degree
- I've been accepted into an Engineering program (although I've decided to postpone entry for now)
- I've gotten engaged (yes, I'm still polyamorous)

- I've been out of the country for the first time
- I've broken bones for the first time
- I've had a pet that I loved dearly die
- I've made the decision to move out to an entirely new state and am working on getting those plans figured out as well as a job lined up

Today Miss Toph crossed the rainbow bridge and I am completely heartbroken. I have job interviews today and tomorrow and I'm not sure how I'm going to pull myself together. Give your little fur babies some extra love from me today. 💜

I may have hyperfocused on my new favorite fictional character and find out what happens to her. 😭 I still want my next long-term, non-horror campaign character to be as cute and pink inspired by her.
