Check out our latest work published in Neurosurgery, the Red Journal‼️
Does a larger aspiration catheter really improve thrombectomy outcomes?

Excited to share our new publication‼️
We explore why successful recanalization does not always translate into functional recovery and propose the 3 R’s framework: No-Reflow, No-Rescue, and No-Regrow.
Very grateful to my mentors @AliAlawiehmdphd, @JAGrossbergMD and the entire team @DareenHija94394@AliTufeily for their contribution to this work! 🙏

In our new SRMA of aspiration catheters for LVO thrombectomy, SLB catheters did not demonstrate significant improvements in FPE, final recanalization, procedure time, or safety outcomes compared with LB catheters.
Grateful to my mentors and coauthors for their guidance and collaboration!
