The right kidney is compensating well. 
The only solution to keep Bubi alive is to remove his left kidney.
The estimates I received from different veterinary clinics and hospitals are beyond my financial possibilities as a postdoc.

Calling all cat lovers and pet lovers! I’m seeking your help.
My lovely cat, Bubi, has been diagnosed with severe hydronephrosis of the left kidney due to a blockage in his ureter caused by a stone or crystal. The left kidney is not functioning anymore.
