How does the cat toy industry survive?

I have had my cat for a year and a half, and to date, her favorite toys have been:
- leaves
- pieces of plastic
- hair ties
- wine corks

@bucketsiler I find a new hobby every month. Exercise, cooking, playing chess, stressing about how the world is ending. Fun things I can obsess over then move onto the next.

@thom_galvin 12. I started writing to make sense of the world around me and my place within it. I stopped ten years later when I no longer wanted to deal with those things. But recently, I have been re-inspired to write and explore them. My writing definitely benefited from the break.

@FantasyKaren Thanks! Me as well, mostly. Creating an alternative world when you realize you have no control in this one seems to be a good coping strategy. I guess as long as you are able to bring yourself out of it every now and then.
