Gold May Be Nearing a Major Technical Breakdown
Gold is beginning to look increasingly vulnerable. After a powerful advance, the price structure on the chart is starting to resemble one of the most recognizable bearish reversal patterns in technical analysis: a head-and-shoulders top.

The setup is not fully confirmed yet, but the right side of the formation is becoming difficult to ignore. We appear to have a left shoulder, followed by a higher peak that forms the head. Now, with price trading below that major high, gold may be building a right shoulder.

If this pattern continues to develop, the market could be approaching an important turning point.
