Welles Crowther is a hero. A @BCEagles graduate. A son, a brother & friend. At 24, he saved over a dozen lives on 9/11. And he’s known as the “Man in the Red Bandana”.

It can be hard to wrap your mind around the scale of 9/11. That’s why Welles’s heroism, The Man In The Red Bandanna, always stuck with me.

He was an ordinary man. But to at least a dozen people trapped in the South Tower…he was a saving angel.

What I don't like is how the social media moral panic lexicon now bleeds into literally everything. Like...it's okay for some things to not be that big a deal!

I feel like I'm a pretty normal sports fan, so I gotta admit I don't 100% get this Clippers stuff. Like, okay, they broke the rules. Sure.

But like...apparently the guy who exposed it got a Pulitzer? That seems insane. There just aren't any stakes here! This isn't Watergate!

I don't have a problem with the Clippers being punished very harshly by the league. You break it, you buy it!

But I just fully do not at all understand the breathless tone in which this is being discussed, like we just uncovered the Teapot Dome scandal.

I mean this is what I’m saying. “Injustice”? My brother…we’re talking about a game here! I mean yes people should not cheat at games. Or anything! But the stakes here are just…nonexistent.

So yes, sure, the NBA should punish the Clips. Severely! But this just…isn’t an important story?

Like I'm not even totally sure the Clippers did something wrong. I mean, it seems pretty obvious they broke the rules. But..."wrong"? I mean, I don't know, basketball's supposed to be a fun game to watch, and you know what was fun? Kawhi being on the Clippers.

So...who cares?
