@vdmempire I hear you all say it is still a crime and Bill hasn't being passed yet. U all are right. However, advocacy from the FMOH, NGOs. Law enforcement and other stakeholders have started making sure that attempted suicide are referred for Psychiatric evaluations and perhaps treatment.

@sleeka36444 @vdmempire True, it is ongoing, however the Nigerian govt and advocacy groups have the white paper on decriminalization. In Lagos, suicide attempt is punishable by court ordered hospitalisation for treatment and care. Just for advocacy and Awareness purpose. That is all.

@AchilleusChud @Olorienem Just like a prominent Nigerian was diagnosed of CA in Nig. he got abroad and they said It wasn't CA but an infection , he was "treated" came back and symptoms re occured. The Nig drs insisted it was CA started Rx, which cont in the abroad for the same CA they said wasn't there.

@SusanHenshaw50 @Olorienem It sounds more like she threw an emboli from the long journey. The reason for the severe pain and the blood thinners given to her. Thank God for her life cos that is such an emergency cos its life threatening. That wait must have been hell.
