A journalist was left in shock after asking a Palestinian Muslim father who openly supports Hamas if he truly backs Hamas’s agenda, which includes jihad and martyrdom.

In July 2026, Ljubiša Karović was partially sucked out of a Ryanair plane window after it shattered mid-flight. His wife, Svetlana Grković, refused to let go, later recalling that her only thought was, “If we die, we die together."

On Friday, July 10, 2026, a Ryanair flight from Thessaloniki, Greece to Memmingen, Germany suffered a mid-air structural failure when engine debris shattered a passenger window roughly 30 minutes after takeoff.

The man seated by the window, Serbian national Ljubiša Karović, was violently pulled toward the opening, but his wife, Svetlana Grković, grabbed his legs and refused to let go, later saying she thought "if we die, we die together."

The pilots turned the plane around for an emergency landing back in Thessaloniki.

Karović survived with serious injuries, including burns and a badly damaged hand, though he remains unable to recall the incident.
