Stumbled upon a portrait-worthy moment on the trails between Tawang and Bomdila a few weeks ago, perfect for my first post on Twitter!
Met a woman whose smile was warmer than my morning coffee and she was cradling fresh greens like a pro! Her eyes sparkled like morning stars when I said "thank you" after snapping her heartwarming smile.
Turns out, sometimes beauty is just a grin away, and her smile has more tales than my travel blog! A shoutout to the simple moments turned into art. Stay tuned for more lens adventures!

We can confirm that we don't wish to add Gautam Gambhir to our coaching staff. He clearly has talent, though. To take those Indian players and deliver those results in Ireland takes truly remarkable gifts.
We've reached the part of 2026 where the first question about a photo isn't "Where is this?", it's "Is this even real?"
This one is. Goa, 2017. Monsoon. And the realest thing in it is something no AI will ever earn: the two seconds before she laughed.
I was at the edge of a colour-soaked road, rain still falling, when she came hurrying through the drizzle, frail, quick, her lime green saree and bright orange blouse combo almost glowing against all that wet grey. From about 20 feet away, I slowly lifted my camera. Not to my eye. Just to my chest. And I waited.
I didn't shoot. I never shoot first. I watched her face, because people tell you everything in a fraction of a second. Discomfort has a gesture, a sound, a turning-away. Consent, spoken or unspoken, has a different look entirely.
Hers went from startled, to surprised, to something that quietly undid me: "He wants to photograph… me? Am I even worth a photograph?" Then she laughed, shyly, delighted, hand rising to cover her mouth.
That's the frame: nothing staged, nothing asked twice. Two strangers arriving at trust in under two seconds, with no shared language between us.
Here's what stays with me now. In 2026, a lens pointed at a stranger doesn't arouse curiosity; it sparks fear. Cameras hide in earbuds. AI dreams up faces that never breathed. So we flinch.
She didn't. She trusted a man with a camera enough to hand him her joy. That trust used to be ordinary. Now it's the rarest thing I own, and the one thing no computer model can generate.
Be honest: if a stranger raised a camera toward you tomorrow, would your first feeling be delight… or fear? And when, exactly, did that change for us?
A flash of colour in the paddy fields: green, purple, ochre against the brown. I'd already passed them. But some photos don't let you keep driving.
I scrambled down the slope, camera swinging off my neck, and stepped straight into the slush. Knee-deep.
Your whole feed is AI now. This frame isn't.
5:30 am. A wooden boat rocking under me on the Ganges. 7 priests step to the water's edge, like aligned planets, and pull fire from the dark.
I've photographed people for 16+ years. My hands were still shaking from the cold.
No preset. No prompt. That purple is the sky deciding whether to wake up. That gold is a real flame, frozen through a long lens from a boat that would not sit still. Then the sun cracked the lavender open, and 5,000 years of the same prayer vibrated through a single piece of glass.
AI can generate this in 4 seconds. It still can't get up at 4 am, boat down the Ganges, and wait for the moment fire meets dawn.
Be honest: if I hadn't told you, would you have known this was real?

December 2015, Old Jodhpur. Indigo walls, rain slick stone, chai and cumin in the air. A cyclist in a red wool cap drifts through molten honey light. I ask for a photo, one click, a small wave, and he’s gone. Some moments outgrow the frame: spice, gold, quiet gratitude. Ever meet a stranger you still carry? :) #Jodhpur #BlueCity #StreetPhotography #TravelPhotography #India #Rajasthan #ArjunKamathPhotography @Canon_India
1) Old Jodhpur, sunrise. An old cloth seller lifts his shutters and smooths bright stacks. A quiet lane turns into a small festival. He looks up, grins, and the shop feels bigger than its walls. Show what you sell, and let your welcome be the first thing people try on.
2) Outside the city, a farmer moves with his flock. Dry ground, clear air. The lines on his face hold stories. He doesn’t claim the land. He echoes it.
3) Back in the blue lanes, an elder sits at her door. Horns, bells, laughter roll by. Sunlight rests on her shoulder. She keeps the tempo while the world hurries.
Rajasthan, 2015.
Wear your warmth. Walk your ground. Let the day sit beside you like an old friend.

Not cool.
You can dislike a Prime Minister, disagree with a government, protest, debate and vote differently. That’s democracy.
But reducing the office of India’s Prime Minister, the man, the office, and what he represents abroad, to a joke on foreign soil -doesn’t feel like the right thing or dissent - to me.
It diminishes him, the institution, and ultimately, us.
@_PVRCinemas Your soda is diluted to a point where even plain soda tastes better. @kripalamanna is absolutely right. Charge us what you must, but have some ethics maybe? I’ve encountered this so many times! But again, we’ll do what we always do. Forget this, and move on. We have bigger problems in our country, but doesn’t mean you have a free license to deceive your trusting customers.
@Benarasiyaa@theliverdoc I wish the parents had access to proper medical care. What you’re doing through your insightful videos is eye opening. How tragic is this!
Really appreciate all your updates on cinema. However, it would be constructive and useful if you can also share more information about what film you’re talking about, or maybe a clue so you can build audience trust and also retain them for the right reasons. Else, although your intent is genuine, such tweets feel a bit lack lustre. Just my two cents. :)
@PUMA I need your urgent help with two orders: 109322875 and 109322566. Despite multiple emails to [email protected], support form submissions, and outreach via Twitter and Instagram, the return status for both items is incorrect on your website/app and the refund status is unclear. Also, one item has not been picked up because the delivery executive says he cannot see the required image on his collection app.
This has delayed the returns process, and I'm not sure what to do next. Please raise this with your returns or operations team, correct the status on the portal, and arrange pickup for the pending item. I would seek confirmation of the actions taken and an expected timeframe for resolution.
You can DM me or reply here.
Ticket number: 01053599 and 01047401

@NewsmatterIndia This is so tragic. Imagine a this happens to a loved one in your family? Absolutely no value for human life here, and there will be no consequences either. Pathetic.
@PUMA@PUMACare Hello! Thanks for writing back @PUMACare . I’ve sent you a DM with all the info, along with the Order ID and the details of the unprofessionalism I’m facing from @PUMA . Please don’t prolong the ordeal. 🙏🏼
@PUMA I’m trying to resolve an issue with the PUMA Customer Care since over a week regarding a return where the delivery person/PUMA customer care messed up. Order number: 109322875 & 109322566. I’ve also sent 3 emails with all the details! Kindly help resolve this. #puma #CustomerSupport
Rathee is one of the most insecure and cowardly influencers around, constantly posturing as brave, but retreating the moment he’s challenged.
He claimed his video would "destroy" the film Dhurandhar. But once it went live, the response didn’t go his way. The comments were filled with people calling out the flaws and contradictions in his so-called analysis, and that clearly rattled him.
Instead of engaging, he shut down the comments, quietly deleted the unfavourable ones, and later reopened the section only for subscribers, ensuring a carefully curated stream of praise.
This pattern mirrors his behaviour on Twitter as well, where he has blocked large numbers of users pre-emptively, without any interaction, simply to avoid uncomfortable or questioning replies under his posts.
You know WHAT?! THANK GOD #ArjunKapoor comes from a privileged background, with a certain emotional cushion around him. Because let’s be honest, these same low-lives who MOCK & INSULT him relentlessly today, would be the first ones to fake cry tomorrow if, god forbid, something tragic happens to him. We saw this hypocrisy before with #SushantSinghRajput, the very people who drove the noise of ridicule, later paraded their GUILT as grief.
There’s a saying in hindi: “Bheed ka koi chehra nahi hota”, meaning a crowd has no face. That facelessness is what makes it so dangerous. Every individual hiding behind the comfort of anonymity, throwing insult upon insult in the name of ‘fun' just to gather some likes and laughs on #IG (just because everyone is doing it), is a part of that same crowd that later washes its hands clean, pretending innocence.
You may not like #ArjunKapoor, that’s fine, but when dislike turns into daily humiliation, that’s no longer criticism; it’s cruelty in the form entertainment.
At what point did we start confusing MOCKERY with opinion? At what point did we start deriving pleasure from someone else’s HUMILIATION?
This constant bullying & harassment wrapped in memes & comedy, reflects more on us exposing the ROT that grows when empathy dies.
You don’t have to be a fan to be HUMANE. You just have to remember that behind every celebrity name you constantly troll, there’s a human being trying to live with DIGNITY.
@AmazonHelp Already have, but nobody has responded as yet. Is this just an outward way of showing the Twitter audience you care but then once the customer messages you, you leave them on unread?
