This makes The Island feel inviting again.
Removing that heavy fog alone changes the whole experience for players, especially newcomers.

Progress of maybe 6hrs of work so far.

Reworked The Island lighting system, lowered fog!, all rock materials and colorgrading.

Might become a free modded map since I have quite some fun here and its good practise.

I just want to thank @NotDollie & the @survivetheark team for all of their hard work on the Lost Colony launch. Delays are never the wanted outcome but they happen. They stay up all night when something doesn’t go right to make sure we can get a release. It’s truly not that hard to be kind. I can’t wait to explore & build on the beautiful map you all created. I also think some people with max grumpy levels need to take a nap 🤣🫶🏼
