This indie team is making a game where you play as a robot vacuum cleaner trying to clean every inch of the house before time runs out
- 48 levels across 8 unique settings
- Zen mode if you prefer no timer
- There are cats
Would you play this? It's called VacuuBot.
@AnimeLoverAly We even have options to make it more relaxing! No time pressure, no power or waste management. You can also control the speed of the VacuuBot!
@MetalByakko@IndieGameJoe Yes that's exactly what we want to make as a company, fun ideas that are quick to jump in and out of, and have them accessible to all!
@ColorTheBooks@IndieGameJoe Thanks! We emphasise with this as we make this game on top of our full time jobs in the games industry!
We also love accessibility in games and wanted as many people as possible to have to ability to play the game and at the pace/style they want!
Of course, there will be similar accounts, copycats and others jumping on for clout, but have your wits about you and know that @IndieGameJoe is the only account tied to Joe.
Unfortunately people will copy paste the exact same content which will dilute everyone's brands.
For other Indie Game Developers, for what it's worth, @IndieGameJoe has one account, the one tagged here. We at Arkado have persoanlly spoke with Joe and know how he wants to approach games and marketing. He is a very open and enthusiastic person who wants to help.
@IndieGameJoe@WillsSpangler Fully agree that there's room for more accounts to boost indies, but they should put their own spin on it, or at least have slightly different content. Having the exact same tweet dilutes everyone's brand for the worst.
@WillsSpangler@IndieGameJoe Hey dude, if you're setting up a bot to copy Joe's posts, it might be best to take it off of replies at least? This is super weird and reads disingenuine.
