Code quality should be your main consideration at all times. One of the things you can do is run through a single document with small refactors that you want to see implemented, have claude use a decisions doc and note every change you tell it to make. Then use those patterns on the entire codebase. Also be very explicit with what you ask it to do. It will cut corners to save tokens if you let it.
This is a terrible take. AKs beats a lot of hands, and the best way to maximize your chip EV is to see all 5 cards and get the money in before an A or K can scare away the TT.
There are 3 modes in poker:
You're hand is trash and you should fold (Fundamentals of range)
You're hand is worth playing and your bets either induce fold equity, or gain you EV (Fundamentals of bet sizing)
You're hand is worth going all-in, and you're looking to maximize the EV of that hand (or go home).
You will not win a tournament without taking flips as necessary. I love cruising through an event on my red line... but eventually the cards go on their back, and in those situations the lines of equity run close.
@JSSchoonover@kittykuopoker Just statistics. If 90% of players are men, and we assume the distribution curve of talent is equal, then the top talent is going to be close to 100% men. This is called the tail effect.
@Lynn69619494A@Dad_Presents@ShemekaMichelle You fail at communication, an eyeroll emoji there could mean several things, but almost everyone will see that and think you're rolling your eye at the song, not at the farce.
This is an odd framing. You're implying in your question that Elon is specifically creating a stock to sell to investors more than a product/service, which is still up for debate. For example, starlink has already served millions with high speed internet in places that no one could reach profitably. Reusable rockets have cut the cost of space travel by a factor of 10 or so, and spacex is on the leading edge of that tech. So the company is inherently providing multiple services and products, effectively negating part of your presupposition.
The benefit is money is a fungible asset and can be quickly reallocated if the company isn't meeting/exceeding expectations, or that capital investment will be rewarded. I'm going fo assume the evaluation is too high and we will see the trading zone in the next 3-6 months, but no one is really sure.
A lot of places like donkleans just verify your entry. Places like wsop and wynn can do this significantly easier, but you have to remember that hendon is a voluntary service that they update as a courtesy.
I would love buyins to be tracked. I created a model that evaluates players based off of their hendon results + buyins. It would help my software significantly, but i don't think it will ever happen across the board, and thus orgs like Wynn won't pick it up either.
After starting day 2 short stacked, Nicholas Major amassed nearly all of the 53 million chips in play from the 1,334 player WSC $600 NLH $500K GTD tournament! A heads-up deal earned him $102,603 and the Wynn Summer Classic trophy. Amazing play, Nicholas!
@Landon_D_@haze_tkn Kazuya's df1 is 15f and extremely negative on block, both extensions have a punishable weakness as well. It's categorically a different move. This guy putting it in the tier list is a mistake, but mischaracterizing the move is also silly.
@OctopiPoker As your stack size diminishes you need to widen your range. I bet if you look at 300bb the set of suited connectors will increase and hands like kjo will show up less.
I'm publishing an app in android and apple market now. It has a live session tracker built by a live tournament player (me) to be quick and easy. It has a solver that i built on an ec2 instance so players can use it from their phone after a hand. It is built on an analyzer model that frames players based on statistical analysis of tournament results. It separates players weaknesses into 7 different archetypes and i have written 39 articles so far for the site. It should be available in about a week
