Former Kentucky head coach John Calipari is backing the SEC’s new eligibility rules amid the ongoing situation with Mark Mitchell and others

“I like what the SEC is doing. If a player doesn’t like what the SEC is doing, what? Go to another league. And if a coach doesn’t like what the SEC is doing?” Calipari said.

“Go to another league, which they’re free to do,” Andy Katz interjected.

“Just do it. Make it hard. Do it right,” Calipari responded.

With Mitchell’s eligibility battle continuing, many will be watching to see if he and others will become eligible. 😼 #BBN

@SeanSutton4 @JRaney50 He agreed to a contract with an NBA team. That is dumb even if he “didn’t technically” sign it. If I was offered a job, and I didn’t sign the paperwork and I just showed up, I don’t have a job and they have no obligation to pay me.

That pretty simple reasoning but I guess you couldn’t follow, and Kentucky doesn’t have good education either so I wouldn’t talk, but thank goodness I went to one of the best public high schools in the U.S.
